⤴ SICKLE CELLS disease

SICKLE CELLS diseasesickle
Complications from the sickle cells destroys rapidly and blocking blood flow and early breaking apart in the body of people with the disease ~ causing;
Anemia,
Attacks of abdominal pain,
Blood blockage in spleen or liver,
Bone pain or damage,
Breathlessness,
Delayed growth and puberty,
Eye damage,
Fatigue,
Fever,
Cholelithiasis (gallstones) and cholecystitis may result from excessive bilirubin production and precipitation due to prolonged hemolysis.
Low red blood cell counts,
Lung blockage,
Paleness,
Priapism; painful and prolonged erection or painful episodes,
Increased risk of severe bacterial infections
Rapid heart rate,
Spleen damage makes sickle-cell disease patients, especially young children, easily overwhelmed by certain bacterial infections. It may be due to loss of spleen functioning tissues. Encapsulated organisms such as streptococcus, pneumonia and hemophilic influenza typically cause these infections.
Tissue damage (acute chest syndrome),
Ulcers on the lower legs (in adolescents and adults) or skin ulcers
A vascular necrosis of the hip and other major joints may occur as a result of ischemia.
Decreased immune reactions due to hypoplenism (malfunctioning of the spleen)
Osteomyelitis (bacterial bone infection), the most common cause of osteomyelitis in SCD is Salmonella (especially the atypical serotypes Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella choleraesuis and Salmonella paratyphi B), followed by Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative enteric bacilli perhaps because intravascular sickling of the bowel leads to patchy ischemic infarction.
Other symptoms include: Chest pain, Excessive thirst, Frequent urination, Infections increased, Jaundice, Yellowish eyes, Kidney damage and loss of body water in urine, Poor eyesight/blindness, and Strokes.
Stroke, which can result from a progressive narrowing of blood vessels, prevents oxygen from reaching the brain. Cerebral infarction occurs in children and cerebral hemorrhage in adults.
Silent stroke causes no immediate symptoms, but is associated with damage to the brain. Silent stroke is probably five times as common as symptomatic stroke. About 10–15% of children with SCD suffer strokes, with silent strokes predominating in the younger patients.
The following guidelines help to keep the sickle-cell patient healthy:
•Add folic acid (folate) daily to help make new red cells
•All vaccination till age six to prevent serious infection
•Drinking plenty of water daily
•Avoid too hot or too cold temperatures
•Avoid over exertion and stress
•Getting plenty of rest
•Getting regular check-ups from knowledgeable health care providers
Patients and families should watch for the following conditions that need an urgent medical evaluation; Fever, Chest pain, Shortness of Breath, Increasing tiredness, Abdominal swelling, Unusual headache, any sudden weakness or loss of feeling, Painful erection that will not go down, Sudden vision change, Oxygen tension.
THOUGH, Onnuri SuJok itself a powerful tool that supports in strengthening the immune system and serves to prevent diseases, control pain and increase both the ability to act and the quality of people’s lives. It has also helped many people who were not successfully treated through conventional western medicine. Several conditions can be dramatically improved or remedied in full including Sickle Cell Disease. It is a traditionally accomplished through insertion of very fine needles at the certain energy gates in the miniature form of hands or feet. The remission of the disease can be achieved and medicaments therapy simultaneously can be reduced or eliminated altogether. The course of treatment is definitely benefited to such patients, it is quite possible to increase the Immunity, Hemoglobin level, and Blood Cells count. No medication is to be stopped immediately until there is a pathological positive result. A non-conventional effective method!

Syncope

SYNCOPE
Medical term for sudden fainting, pallor, cold limbs and is precisely defined as a transient loss of consciousness manifest syncope, characterized by rapid onset, short duration and spontaneous recovery due to global cerebral hypo-perfusion that most often results from hypotension and are often resulted from emotional excitement, fright or debilitating and overstriking.
Syncope of deficiency vital energy is often caused by general deficiency of the primary energy and failure to ascending due to over strain or grief and fright, exhaustion of energy after profuse bleeding.
Main manifestations: feeble breathing with mouth agape, spontaneous sweating, pallor, cold limbs, deep and thready pulse. Resulting, analysis could be; dizziness, vertigo, loss of consciousness, feeble breathing are all with sudden perversion of its flow of energy, sinking of energy in the spleen and stomach and failure of the clear yang in ascending. Cold limbs are caused by failure of yang energy to reach there. Weakness of primary energy and disabilities of vital energy in controlling the pores are shown in spontaneous sweating and mouth agape. Deep thready pulse also suggests deficiency of energy.
A simple faint is one that occurs in an otherwise healthy person. One cause is a sudden increase in activity of the agues-tenth cranial nerve, which runs from the brain to the heart and other organs and is one of the main controllers of the heart’s action. The vagus over activity causes the heartbeat to slow down to about half its normal rate resulting in a sudden fall in blood pressure. The temporary drop in blood supply to the brain causes dizziness and a need to lie down. The person rapidly becomes pale, sweaty and nauseated and may quickly lose consciousness. More serious causes of fainting include cardiac heart related conditions such as an abnormal heart rhythm wherein heart beats too slow or too rapid or irregular to pump enough blood to the brain that can be life threatening.
BUT, Syncope of excess vital energy is mainly due to emotional disturbances, such as anger, fear and fright leading to deranged flow of energy, which rushes upwards to the heart and chest, blocking the windpipe and disturbing the mind, or due to up surging of liver yang followed by perversion of blood flow after a fit of anger, leading to disturbance of the mind and resulting in loss of consciousness.
Main manifestations: coarse breathing, rigid limbs, clenched jaws, and deep and excess type pulse. Resulting, analysis could be; perversion of energy after a fit of anger makes qi activity impeded and blood rushing up together with qi to disturb the mind and hence sudden collapse, loss of consciousness, clenched jaws and rigid limbs.  Obstruction of energy in the lungs gives rise to coarse breathing. Deep and excess type pulse is a sign of excess syndrome. Vagus over activity may be triggered by the psyche in response to such things as alarming or emotionally disturbing sights, nasty smells, and overwhelming fear.
Syncope manifested by sudden loss of consciousness should be distinguished from wind stroke and epilepsy. Wind stroke; loss of consciousness is complicated by hemiplegia and deviated mouth, usually; there are squeal after restoration to consciousness.  Epilepsy; loss of consciousness is accompanied by convulsions, expectoration of frothy saliva or yelling; when the consciousness is regained the patient becomes as normal as usual.  This condition includes simple fainting, postural hypotension, hypoglycemia, hysteria etc.  If there is deficiency syndrome, one has to promote tonifying direction or if there is excess syndrome, energy to be in sedating direction so that it may regulate the flow of energy.
As Brain cells begin to die if they are deprived of oxygen for three to five minutes.  The brain requires about 20 percent of the body’s oxygen supply though it makes up only about 2 percent of a person’s total body weight.
Onnuri SuJok  ‘ACUPUNCTURE’ states that vital energy is the animating force behind life, the cosmic forces of Nature, and is the root of all things. It is said that if one stays in touch with vital energy, ones life will be healthy in all its phases, be it •BODY •EMOTIONS •NEURO!  ACUPUNCTURE itself is a powerful medicine, which aids in strengthening the immune system and serves to prevent diseases, control pain and increase both the ability to work and the quality of people’s lives.  An important aspect of therapy is that it allows taking into account characteristics of the patient manifested in own energy constitution. This brings about an effective action on the very origin of disease with the goal of increasing in blood circulation and vital energy, as it may be required even after being in consciousness state so that there is no recurrence of the episodes.
