Pain and Pleasure both are binding attachments as pain binds us as much as pleasure binds us. Pain may be an ugly chain whereas pleasure may be a beautiful well decorated; fanciful possibly to be made of gold. Hell may be a poor place and heaven may be at the same time a very rich place but poverty and richness are two aspects of the same coin. One has to be free of the both to get in the state ‘freedom’!
